Learn how to make Paella & Tortilla
No dishes better represent the flavours of España than a spicy paella or a warm tortilla. Ingredients combined, these dishes embody the country’s love of fresh seafood, local produce, spicy paprika and extra virgin olive oil. Take some Spanish flavours home with you by indulging in a 3-hour cooking class that will allow you to master both dishes, all with the assistance of one of our skilled local chefs. Learn about the origins of these traditional dishes as you prepare them using authentic local recipes – start with seafood paella with produce from Mar de Alboran, followed by a rabbit paella recipe favoured by inland Spaniards and finish with a classic tortilla using eggs from nearby La Liña Algeciras. All olive oil is sourced from Malaga and all herbs and garnishes will be provided fresh from Puente Romano’s garden, ensuring no flavour goes unnoticed. Finish your in-depth masterclass by sampling the tasty dishes you have created, paired with a glass of local Spanish wine.
