Relaxed hike through the Juanar forest and olive groves

Enjoy a journey by foot through the picturesque Sierra Blanca mountain, discovering a remarkable landscape with oak, pine, chestnut and eucalyptus trees. Take in the stunning views of the coast as far as North Africa as you get a glimpse into the unique flora and fauna of Andalucía. Be sure to take note of the views – on a clear day, you’ll be able to spot the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Watch as the colour contrast changes, from the red earth to the bright rocks of the Sierra Blanca to the lush green of the olive plantation you’ll pass through.
A guide will be accompanying you ensuring you take the best route. The level of difficulty is moderate so this experience is accessible for everyone. Remember to wear appropriate footwear and clothing and if you are feeling adventurous you can hike to the top of the Cruz de Juanar some 2000 metres high from where the views are truly spectacular.
