Play Paddle Tennis at its Spanish Birthplace
Tennis is an all-time favourite, but have you ever tried paddle tennis?
Beloved by Spaniards, it’s thought to have been invented in Mexico in the 1960s before being introduced to Spain soon after by Puente Romano founder and pioneer Prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe. His love for the sport meant he built the first paddle court in Marbella, ensuring it would live on Andalucía. The game is now considered a national sport despite its Andalusian roots, with courts all over the country and many Spaniards passionate about this fun variation of tennis. We make sure to keep this fun tradition alive by providing expert coaches to suit the age and level of all players. Each of our paddle tennis professionals has been accredited by the Real Federación Española of Tennis, ensuring our guests can access the sport’s best teachers.
