Puente Romano Marbella has partnered with World Vision since 2012, funding five projects, helping the charity reach over two million children across Africa and Asia. Every August, the resort, guests and our local community come together for the World Vision Gala, now one of the most tant dates in the charity's fundraising calendar.

That is why every dining bill across the resort now includes a voluntary donation of 1 euro to World Vision.

It is a small gesture at the end of lunch or dinner, and together those euros are changing lives. The donation is entirely voluntary, and our team will remove it if you wish.
For our owner, Daniel Shamoon, the cause is close to his heart. His relationship with World Vision goes back over forty years, to when he and his family began sponsoring children, and that commitment grew into the galas and fundraising the resort supports today.
Funds raised presently support the Green-Up Project in Boke and Lemo, two districts of Ethiopia where deforestation and over-farming have degraded the land and left families facing hunger. Regenerative farming is restoring the soil while the harvests are helping children grow up healthy.
In its first six months the project has reached over 10,600 people, restored 4,613 hectares of land and formed 78 savings groups, 92 per cent of their members women, providing a source of income.
